In Sweden where I live you are allowed to build a house of 30 sqaure meter without a building permit. 
I like the idea that one person can lie in bed and on in the sofa watching a movie on the TV.  The sofa is a bed sofa so eight people can sleep here. Despite the tiny space you have a fireplace, bathtub, waching machine/dryer, a tabe with for chairs and the loft can be closed with a door. The stepladder can be pushed back against the wall.
